📋 Role Responsibilities
- Partner with regulatory teams to translate laws into operational processes
- Review transactions involving sanctioned entities/countries and escalate where required
- Execute internal control checks under the AFC Sanction & Embargo framework
- Prepare and submit regulatory applications (licenses, permits, authorizations)
- Update embargo lists in filtering systems and support the adoption of new clients
- Record rationale for decisions and maintain compliance documentation
- Support remediation projects and regulatory change initiatives
🎓 Skills & Experience Required
- Knowledge of Sanctions and Regulatory Filtering
- Familiarity with SWIFT message formats and payment flows
- Understanding of SEPA message structures
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotational shifts and weekends
