📋 Role Responsibilities

• Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition processes
• Draft, review, and negotiate land-related agreements, contracts, and MoUs
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies for approvals and clearances
• Address and resolve disputes related to land ownership, acquisition, or usage
• Monitor environmental and statutory compliance for thermal projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align land strategies with project timelines
• Maintain accurate records of land transactions and compliance reports
• Provide legal advisory support to the Land Head and project teams
• Stay updated on changes in land laws and policies impacting the power sector
• Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to land acquisition

🎓 Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution (specialization in land laws preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land legal functions, preferably in power or infrastructure
• Proven track record in handling large-scale land acquisition projects
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and dispute resolution
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
