📋 Role Responsibilities
- Study bid documents, identify risk areas, and advise tendering teams with contingency plans
- Prepare pre-bid queries and Contract Appreciation Documents (CAD) for internal circulation
- Monitor works from a contractual perspective, ensuring entitlements and obligations are met
- Prepare and submit claims for site-related issues in coordination with project teams
- Manage correspondence with clients regarding scope, delays, and disputes
- Coordinate with Dispute Resolution Bodies (DRB), Arbitration Tribunals, and courts through legal counsel
- Draft and standardize high-value work orders and agreements with subcontractors
- Sensitize project teams about contract importance and potential friction areas
🎓 Skills & Experience Required
- Educational Qualification: B.E. Civil and LLB (PGD in Construction/Business Management preferred)
- Strong knowledge of contract management laws and claim realization
- Expertise in drafting complex documentation for contracts and arbitrations
- Risk analysis and mitigation skills with ability to identify red flags early
- Networking with external legal counsels and consultants for knowledge enhancement
- 8+ years of experience in contracts, claims, and dispute resolution in EPC/construction projects
