📋 Role Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and review transaction and security documents for domestic and cross-border lending
- Work with external legal counsels across multiple geographies
- Vet product/process notes, policies, and terms for wholesale banking products and services
- Provide legal advisories on statutory and regulatory risks/compliance
- Track and update laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the bank’s business
🎓 Skills & Experience Required
- LLB from a reputed law college/university in India
- LLM from foreign or reputed domestic institutions preferred
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in scheduled commercial banks, foreign banks, or law firms
- Expertise in cross-border transactions and wholesale banking portfolios
- Familiarity with APLMA/LMA documentation
- Strong knowledge of Indian laws related to lending and security creation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
