🧾 Role Overview – Legal Associate
This legal career opportunity in Bengaluru is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, and company secretarial functions. The Legal Associate will support governance, regulatory reporting, contract management, and legal advisory across BCE’s India operations.
📋 Key Responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Support ethical business conduct and governance initiatives
- Monitor compliance with global standards and assist in training
- Liaise with government authorities and manage regulatory filings
Legal & Contractual Advisory
- Draft, review, and negotiate service agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts
- Ensure compliance with IT Act, DPDP Act, and labour laws
- Assist with POSH Act implementation and policy drafting
Company Secretarial Functions
- Maintain statutory registers and minutes under Companies Act, 2013
- Draft notices, resolutions, and coordinate audits
- Ensure FEMA compliance for FDI-related matters
Regulatory & Strategic Support
- Assist in due diligence, fundraising, and legal dispute resolution
- Respond to compliance audits and regulatory inquiries
- Support director liabilities and inter-company agreements
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- LL.B. graduate with 3+ years of corporate legal experience
- Familiarity with FDI, FEMA, and governance frameworks
- Strong drafting, legal research, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage regulatory complexity
